"I wonder, just who is showing whom around and who really is the guide?"

You know, I think that is the way it is supposed to be. I hope you enjoyed YOUR day.

........definitely, start your day by eating a little cereal to get your metabolism going and to begin nuturing "you" for the day. then, at 11:00, order what your body tells you to order. after all, a one day vacation from the plan is only one day.
love your emails & you,
peggy
p.s. still would love to see you in destin someday......your condos waiting. i'm not a bad tour guide myself!

Have the coffee but I suspect you will need more than that to last until 11am as you probably arose earlier than most. I'd have pushed it back to lunch and pointed out that 11am for breakfast only works if you've just got up at 10am. This said - go and if you're not hungry - go light - your sparrow like appetite may impress him and spare his wallet.

I really am enjoying reading your writings. And they sound just like you talk -- and I love that! But I do have one question -- Cossacks on horseback at every corner???

You should have the coffee at home and then take the mans hospitality when he offers to pay for breakfast. After all, he called the meeting and dictated that it would be at breakfast!

Aha! I am happy to know that you and QC can accept a certain amount of dust....I share surfaces that never
experience a white glove.
Jane, I will look forward to hearing what outer borough might attract you. As a suburbanite, married to a man who could not/would not adjust to city life, I have no advice to offer. He "escaped" Chicago in his early 20s and never looked back.
May I be intrusive enough to ask about your mother? Many months ago when I called you asking how to
arrange a (still long hoped for) tour, you were concerned with her health.
Thank you for sharing your musings. Janie H.
